STONEHILL CAPITAL Investment Strategy

Methods of Analysis, Investment Strategies and Risk of Loss

The investment objective of each Fund is to achieve superior investment returns over time. The types of investments by the Funds will vary over time based on the perception of SCM as to relative opportunities, with an expected focus at most times on investments in distressed, high yielding, and defaulted debt and related investments and other opportunistic investments. The Funds also make investments in industries and markets experiencing significant dislocations, including those caused by cyclical market declines or business troughs, economic crises, market collapse, leverage unwinds and other events. The Funds have broad investment parameters so that SCM can change the investment focus of any Fund if it determines that other investment strategies may be more attractive.
